Olivia's 9th Birthday

Olivia is 9! She takes birthdays very seriously. The night before she decorated the house and asked me multiple times if she needed to go to her room so that we could wrap her presents. She picked out a new outfit as part of her birthday presents and wanted to make sure she opened it in the morning so she could wear it. She had been having respiratory issues and barely slept last night, so she didn’t feel great this morning but wanted to go get donuts for everyone else so they didn’t miss out even though she didn’t feel like eating. She made all the decisions today about what we would do and when. Luckily we didn’t have school today so we played at Boondocks most of the day, came home, made her cake-which she decorated all by herself, and had Rice-a-Roni for dinner (her choice). Then we finished off with cake and ice cream with grandparents and a couple cousins. Despite the breathing issues she had a great day.

And we didn’t point out that it looked like her cake said “Happy Birthbag”.

Luke managed to get all 5 top scores at Boondocks, and his pictures are hilarious!
