Fun times at home

Here are some fun pictures of the girls from the end of May.
Livvy likes to line things up, like Care Bears! She did this all by herself! She can be very organized (:

Playing the backyard, they both dressed themselves  (:

Riding her new bike, what a funny girl! The first one we got her for her birthday was too big and didn't ride very well, so she picked this princess one and has been very happy with it!
Luke thought it would be fun to buy Gabrie some snorkle gear, she has loved it!

Preschool Graduation and Spring Dance Recital

In the middle of May Gabriella graduated from preschool! She is such a big girl and has learned a lot. She is going to love Kindergarten, even though she is a little nervous about it (:

Gabrie and Riley waiting for graduation to begin.

After graduation, Katie and Gabrie
After graduation we went and got pizza to celebrate and then got ready for Gabrie's dance recital. She danced to "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahantas. Here she is doing her "poses", what a cutie!

Then she wanted me to pose (:

 At the recital
Gabrie and her good friend Abby
 All of the class

It was really fun this time because Sydney started to take dance from the same place so we got to see her dance too!

Now that this is her 3rd recital she expects a rose after, haha!

They had a family dance party after, it was lots of fun.

The Zoo

Gabrie's preschool class had their last field trip for the year, to the Zoo. It was lots of fun!

Gabrie taking a drink from the lion.

The monkey that scared Livvy! Well she was scared of all the monkeys, but this one put on a show for us (:

Gabrie, Ava, and Katie doing their best monkey faces!

Livvy and the elephants, she really liked that there was a "baby one", "mommy one", and "daddy one".

More pictures

Gabrie, some of her friends, and Miss Mandy, her teacher.
Riding the train with some of her favorite people, Ethan and Katie. She later informed me she "loves" Ethan (:
Livvy and Mommy riding the train.
It was hot and expensive but we had fun and don't need to go again for awhile!

Master Luke

At the begining of May Luke graduated from USU with his Master's Degree in Instructional Technology! He worked very hard for it and we are so proud of him! We are all so glad it is done! We drove up to Logan thinking it would be a quick commencement like mine had been 4 years earlier but we were very wrong! They started late and had tons of students, it lasted forever! Luke describes it as the most boring day of his life, but at least we have pictures (:

Here he is getting "hooded" .

Walking up to get his name read.

 With his "diploma".

By the time is was done no one was really in the mood for pictures, but we tried anyway.

Thanks Mom and Dad for coming to support Luke and taking us out to the Bluebird after.

We also had to at least drive by the little green and white house where I spent the hardest summer of my life! The second summer into my Master's program, when Gabrie was just 2 1/2 months old we rented the top floor of this house, and my wonderful mother moved up with me and took care of Gabrie while I went to class from 8-6 each day and studied until midnight each night. Then I would stay up with Gabrie until all hours of the night and some how make it through the next day with maybe 4 hours of sleep. Luke would drive up when he didn't have class at BYU. I started that summer pretty sure I was just gonna quit school because I didn't see how it would be possible, but I was truly blessed to make it through. Thinking back I still don't know how it was possible,  I tell people it must have been Divine Intervention because there is no way I did that by myself. But we look at this little house with such fondness remembering how Gabrie turned over for the first time there, Luke caught bugs for his entimoloy class there, Gabrie would love to sit on the porch and watch the cars go by and we confirmed the fact that my mom is the closest thing to an angel that there is!
