Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! I love this holiday! All the hearts and pink and red and telling people you love them, it is just so fun!Gabrie took these pictures, first she told us to put our hands on our hips but those ones didn't turn out as well. Then she told us to make different faces! So here they are (:

Here are our two little sweethearts!
She asked me this morning "Mommy, did I tell you that it's never to late to care enough?" She cracks me up!
I told her to smile with her teeth, she replied "This is my Valentine's smile!" So here it is!

So I guess this is Livvy's Valentine's smile? (: She kept saying "eeze" with her lips pushed out so this is the closest to a smile I got!

Valentine's two years ago... Can't believe that is the same child!
They have gotten so big!
Love you all!!!!!!
XOXO

Luke's Award

Luke received an awesome award this week, Earth Systems Teacher of Year! We are so proud of him and all of his hard work! His colleague/friend Ricky presented him the award.
Here he is with one of his middle school science teachers, Mr. Monson!

Here he is with some of the other science teachers from his school who came to support him.

This is totally unrelated but I had to post this picture of Livvy with her "tups" she has been playing with all week. I was downstairs and couldn't hear her so I came up to see she had all of her "tups" lined up with water in them and each with a "fok" (meaning fork or spoon). She is sitting outside the bathroom where she would stand on the toilet to fill them up with water from the sink. She is saying "eeze" and was very proud to have her picture taken with the "tups".

Ice skating

Gabrie has been wanting to go ice skating for awhile now so we decided to go for family home evening last week. She was SO excited and kept talking about how she was excited to go for her "first time!" After hearing her mention that she was going to do a pirouette on the ice, I decided I better warn her that it might be kinda hard her first time and she wouldn't be able to do all the tricks she had seen "Angelina Ballerina" do on her cartoon.
But here she is with her skates on! We could have gotten some for Livvy but decided not to even try.
She realized quickly that is was pretty hard to stay up so Luke helped her quite a bit.

She also did some "tricks" sliding on her bum (:
Livvy didn't quite understand what we were doing but had fun anyway.

As you can see there are no pictures of me because it was a lot harder than I remember! That or I am just a bigger chicken now. We didn't last long in our skates but then tried it again in our regular shoes and had a lot more fun!
