Christmas Day with the Williams side

We did our Nativity at Grandma and Grandpa Williams' house. Luke was the Narrating Angel.
 Grandpa Joseph and Mary Mamie
 Shepards Seth and Sydney
The Wise people and their camels

Uncle Seth helping Gabrie try out her science kit from Grandma and Grandpa.
Livvy playing with the craft supplies also from Grandma and Grandpa.

Having not grown up by any extended family and not really knowing many of my cousins, aunts or uncles, I am so grateful my children get to experience so much with their extended family. So much fun, memories, and love.

Christmas Morning

Olivia and Gabrie woke us up - not too early, after 7 o'clock I think.

Waiting for everyone to be ready. Dash is holding on to Luke's leg.

The girls couldn't wait for their brothers and went out to check their stockings.

Then Dash came out and I'm not sure why Liam is standing on the edge of the tub...
(Luke reminded me it's because he was doing his thigh-slapping dance)

Santa brought the boys a tool bench!

Dash checking it out.

And they got slinkies in their stockings, Liam called them his "springers."

Olivia got an art kit, among other things.

We started potty training that week so Liam was in underwear and new car slippers, working on his tool bench.

Dash reading his new book.

Gabriella enjoying her new tablet!

What a mess! But everyone enjoyed it!

Another shot of the mess. The "hapy" on the wall are leftover decorations that Livvy had hung up for my birthday : )

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Talley's (or Yaya's as our kids call them)

A good game of Settlers to start off, I can't remember who won...
(Luke says it was probably him... probably not)

Dash started out happy...

Grandpa telling about the Symbols of Christmas. Notice the nice Christmas sweater
(it got a lot of comments)

All the kids want to answer his questions.

"Sad Dash", as we started calling him, is on the ground behind Liam, not wanting to be part of the group for some reason.

It helps when Daddy comes sit by him.

Opening presents

Most of the pictures Stefanie took so I am actually in a couple!
Helping the boys open presents.

I thought it would be fun do some Christmas themed "Minute to Win it" games - it ended up being a blast. This one was trying to see how many candy canes you could get in your cup using a candy cane in your mouth.

Liam did his own version! He always wants to be involved and do what the bigger kids are doing. Dash on the other hand is usually doing his own thing. It is fun to see the differences in their personalities.

The adults had to try too!

Luke showing off his juggling skills.

The kids playing the Mustache game.

Liam and Dash loved this new toy for Grandma and Grandpa's house, it entertained them for a while!

Snowball racing. Love the serious looks on Ashlyn and Gabrie's faces.

Snowball stacking, I think Corbin was the winner on this one.
(though Luke says he won Dr. Mario in the background... probably not)

Liam, Dash and Krew playing their version of Tic-Tac-Toe.

Me and Dash having a good time.

December

In December we were sad because our neighbors up the street moved. We have missed having a friend up the street for Gabrie.
Jordan and Gabrie

Luke and his leadership class did a Christmas Village at his school. It was a lot of work and turned out great! Here is the igloo he made, it was quite impressive!

 Decorating the Christmas Tree

Liam got to do the star.

Dash didn't want to hold still so he is a blur, but I love Liam in this top picture.

In this one Dash is at least holding still but won't look at the camera.

This jacket is something Gabrie wanted for Christmas, hahaha, she did not get it.

Dash loves to wear the girls' Princess Palace Pets blanket thing because it has a dog hood. So this day he wore it to my exercise group (:

Christmas dresses and suits and my birthday, so they had to let me take pictures.

Again Dash didn't want to so he has a red nose from crying but we got a few good ones.

Liam doing his picture pose, not sure where he got it?!

Dash was okay as long as he could be a dog.

Everyone posing!

One with Mom

The girls helped make and decorate my cake.

That is a lot of candles!

Everyone helping me blow out my candles

Happy 34th Birthday to me!

We actually got a decent Christmas Break this year, 2 whole weeks! It was great!
Dash playing in the snow

Livvy, Gabrie and the back of Liam

Liam with that pose again!

 Making sugar cookies

Making and sampling the frosting

Miriam brought her girls over to decorate cookies. They had had their faces painted earlier that day.
Rosie, doing her classic Rosie "cheese."
