St. Patrick's Day 2012

Well after a year of planning and worrying by Gabrie, St.Patrick's day was a success! She has been talking about what she would wear since last year and worrying about people "flicking" her(: And even though the dress she was planning on wearing no longer fits, we found her another shirt to wear, made shamrock cookies and there was no flicking or pinching! In fact I told her to go pinch Luke in bed because he didn't have any green on yet and she got very serious and said no that wasn't nice!

I tried to do a green breakfast again even though it didn't go over well last year. This year we had cinnamon rolls with green frosting which everyone liked however no one drank their green milk! As you can see Livvy didn't want her picture taken. (please judge how messy my house looks, I promise it looks worse than it was!)

Dressed in Green!Luke got this hat last year and Gabrie has been waiting all year to wear it! I also got her a pin that says "Irish Lass with Sass!", I think we have Irish blood somewhere in the family and it was just too cute!

After bathes that night the girls were posing in there hats (:

Picture Update

Here are some pictures of what we have been up to the past month or so.
Livvy "sniffing" my flowers

Family Movie Night (only Gabrie would sit for the picture)
Pretending to take naps (some are better at pretending than others) (:
Last Sunday I put the girls hair in rags to see what it would do, they thought it was fun.
Gabrie's hair did just what mine did when I was little, curled into tight tiny ringlets! She looked like Shirley Temple, I wish I took a picture. I tried to brush it out a little but it didn't help. But the best part was she loved it and kept patting the bottom of it gently and looking around at church to see who would notice her hair! She also asked "Do you think anyone will recognize me?" She is too funny!
Half of Livvy's fell out by morning and was stick straight and the other half had tiny ringlets at the end which I tried to brush out with water because it looked so funny.
Gabrie had a preschool fieldtrip to the Aquarium and it was a lot of fun! Here is a fuzzy picture of the girls by the penguins.
And with 2 of Gabrie's preschool friends, Katie and Rylie.
The weather was really nice the past few days and we are trying to take advantage of it!

We are looking forward to Spring, St.Patrick's Day, Easter and Gabrie's birthday! Oh and Luke finishing his Master's Degree, can't wait!!!
