April 2017

April was a fun month with Spring Break, Easter and Gabriella's birthday.
At the begining of the month we celebrated the April birthdays at Grandma and Grandpa Williams house, which included Gabrie and Ben. Here we are singing and blowing out their candles.

I finally got to use my birthday present which was tickets to see the play of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers! It was even better than I thought it would be!

We got to go to soccer game for free because Luke is a teacher
and we met the Carwins there!  Luke was a student teacher under Jason and they have taught together ever since. They have girls Gabrie and Livvy's age so they had a great time together.
We spent most of spring break working on the basement. Once we got the carpet in Gabrie got to move into her new room. I was really worried that she would be too scared to sleep down there by herself and that I would be too worried with her so far away but it has been great. Livvy wanted to sleep in Gabrie's room for the first few nights which helped ease the transition for us all but it has been wonderful for each girl to have her own space to put their stuff and be responsible for!

We woke up to winter wonderland and the kids had to pull out all the winter stuff I was hoping to put away! I love Livvy's bedhead!

Everyone gathered on the small couch to get a glimpse of Daddy playing on his tiny phone!

My cute boys picking me some "flowers". They are so sweet.

Activity Day Recognition Night Luau

We went to the dollar movie to see Lego Batman with Bat Girl 1 & 2, Batman, and Superman. It was a pretty funny movie, we all enjoyed it!

I found Dash in his room lining up blocks and the numbers were even mostly in the right order! He has progressed a lot this year I think because of preschool. He is very determined when working on a project and doesn't want to stop until he feels like he is done. He also copies words at preschool, the teacher was quite impressed.

One of the boys decided it would be a good idea to draw a larger person on their wall. It was so cute that I had to hurry and take a picture before lecturing them about drawing on the walls. I'm still not sure who drew it...

This photo-shoot deserved it's own post!

March 2017

It was a dress up day at school but I can't remember what it was for, Livvy was dressed as a pioneer and Gabrie was someone from Asia... a panda trainer?

In January we started getting the rest of the basement finished. By March it was ready for paint. We decided to do it ourselves and it was a lot of work!

Cute little leprechauns in their green on St. Patrick's Day.

The boys earned a treat from the gas station for staying in their beds at bedtime, they like to come in and out multiple times for various reasons.

We finally finished painting. Here's the kids in Gabrie's new room! Check out that blue!

Grandpa and Grandma Williams came to watch Gabrie perform.

Gabrie and her friend Aiden
Ben, Aiden, Gabrie and ...I can't remember that other kid's name.

The girls earned a "Late Night" where they could invite a friend over to stay until bedtime (9ish). They decided they wanted it to be science-themed (nerds). Luckily they have connections with a science teacher, aka Daddy, who brought home lots of science demos for them to try.
Livvy invited Shannon
And Gabrie invited her friend Oli.

February 2017

Power Ranger Liam, Superman Dallin, and Spiderman Dash

We had an unseasonably warm day in early February and I don't know if I have ever been so grateful for a blue sky and semi-warm weather.

Their faces make me laugh, haha!

Dash and one of his "stowies" (stories).

Valentine's Day!
Livvy was excited about the giant Hershey kiss we gave her.

Gabrie and her Valentine's box

Dallin, Liam, and Dash enjoying lunch and their treats from their preschool Valentine's party

For dinner we enjoyed a Village Baker pizza! It's a Luke and Kellie Valentine's tradition since 2000, when Luke's dad (Grandpa Talley) got mad (worried we were getting too serious in the blanket fort Luke made under his deck) and made me go home early.

We finally got the boys bunk beds which they have loved.
In honor of Presidents Day, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.
Poor Dash, got frustrated trying to  draw a penguin but he was so cute I had to take some pictures.
