Gabrie had a very special birthday party this year at the Lion House, Brigham Young's house in downtown Salt Lake City. She has a love for all things poineer so when I found out they did pioneer themed birthday parties we had to take advantage of it because you have to be 8,9,or 10 so this would have been the last year she could do it. Her party was actually a week or so before her actual birthday but it turned out great.
They made her a special cake, it was delicious.
Her friends, cousins (Evan and Ben) and Livvy.

Her actual birthday-Hooray!
(I love Luke in the backgroud)
She chose an ice cream sandwich cake we saw online. We made it and topped it with chocolate, caramel, and mint oreos. YUM!
Presents
She got a cool wand that she loved
Roller skates from Grandma and Grandpa Williams, science kits from Grandma and Grandpa Talley and a bunch more Harry Potter stuff from Mom and Dad.
Gabrie is enthusastic about all of her interests and we love it. She is a huge Harry Potter fan and has read all 7 books! sShe loves to learn especially science, history, art, crafts and reading. When we go to the library it is not uncommon for her to get 10 nonfiction books on her chosen topic! She is great at math and is still learning Spanish at school. She always tries to do what is right and helps our family stay on track with scripture reading and family prayer. She still loves Ninjago and Legos, Harry Potter, Project Mc2 and a new love Nancy Drew- she watched the movie and is now getting into the books. Her favorite color is blue, favorite food is potstickers. When she grows up she wants to be an archeologist/zoologist (?). Her favorite friends are Aiden T, Ethan N. Aedan D, and Ben, yep all boys! And her and Olivia from her class have started a new and great friendship which is awesome!
We love this girl of ours!
