December Part 1

After Thanksgiving we got out the Christmas decorations and this cool one that we bought 6 months prior and finally got to use. Liam loved sitting in front of it watching the train and Santa on his sled go around the track while listening to the music.

Dash is not sad in the picture below. He came into my room and asked if I wanted to see him be "a rock".

Livvy needed to do a service project for school so we made food bundles with flour, rice and beans to give to refugees. It was also our first day "Light(ing) the World" an initiative from the Church to improve the world by doing what Jesus did. Jesus fed the hungry and so did we.

The boys fell asleep in the same position, on our way home and Livvy thought it was fun to imitate them, hehehe.

Christmas Jammies!
We started the month of December with new jammies!
But getting a good picture of all four kids in their jammies is basically impossible.

They were excited to also get their own advent calendars rather than sharing one like we have done in the past.

Me and the girls went with Grandpa Williams to his Stake's Nativity display, where they had Nativities of all shapes and sizes and from all over the world. We also got to dress up and make our own. Livvy was the angel, Gabrie was Mary and Grandpa was a Wise Man,
Then we switched and I was a shepherd, Livvy was Mary and Gabrie was a Wise Man.

Not sure why I had this picture but probably because Liam is just so sweet when he sleeps!

Miriam, Livvy, and I went to the Christkindlmarket, a German outdoor Christmas Market. It was super fun and we saw lots cool things, but it was very cold! We bought new stockings, apple beer, the best preztel I've ever had and some yummy candy to share with everyone at home.

Riding the train around "This is the Place".

We went to another Christmas activity and we were able to make ornaments to honor our loved ones who have passed away so we made 2 and wrote "Granny" on them. We left one there on their "Memory Tree" and brought the other home to put on our tree.

Livvy and her lego creation
Liam and Dash sharing a soda at Costco - one of our favorite places, haha.
 They are too cute!

In early December Dash began his obsession with calendars, which he calls "calendins". He started with making them and taping them on the wall. Then every day he would go over to his calendars and ask what day it was. Sometimes they are accurate and sometimes they aren't.

Gabrie was front and center in her 4th grade music program and did a great job singing about the State of Utah and its history.

They also played Christmas songs on their recorders.

 A nice Liam "selfie"

Gabrie's gingerbread house from her class party.
 Sledding!
Liam mostly helped Livvy make a snowman.
Dash had fun sledding and eating the snow.

My cute little elves!

Liam and Dash's preschool Mom Day. They sang some songs, did crafts, activities and snacks.

Christmas sugar cookies. Livvy's friend Taylor joined us.

  Gabrie helped with decorating

Liam enjoyed eating them and got green all over his face!
