Happy Birthday Gabriella!
This year her birthday was on a Sunday so she got to celebrate all weekend!
On Friday she had a Ninjago Themed party and invited some friends from school (though we had to limit the number this year) (:
Rice Crispy Sushi and a Jay, the blue ninja, Cake
(all made by me, let me pat myself on the back).
Luke set up the dart board for the kids to practice their throwing skills.
Dash and Liam enjoyed it too.
Decorating throwing stars
Some of her friends.
Cake time!
They also enjoyed climbing trees!
Liam likes to be in the middle of the party.
On Saturday the girls and I went and got our nails painted.
Gabrie's turned out especially cute!
On Sunday, her actual birthday, we hurried and let her open her presents before church.
Her present from primary, cute birthday girl!
Livvy was excited about her missionary tag from church.
Batman gets worn out by church (:
Later we went and had more cake and celebrated more at Grandma and Grandpa Talley's house. She requested a homemade Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream cake.
We sure love Gabrie! We are so glad she is a part of our family. She is such a good girl and tries so hard to do what is right. She is super smart and tries really hard in school. She was the only one in her class to get 100% on their benchmark math test - in fact, everyone else had to retake it! She is doing well learning Spanish and has really taken off with her reading in 3rd grade. She loves to dance (though she doesn't always love going to dance class). She loves the color blue, Ninjago, reading, learning about animals, Legos, Harry Potter (she just recently started and she's loving them), art, climbing our tree, playing with friends, talking science and playing video games with Daddy.
