Rockin Through Time

The girls got to participate in Herriman City's Childrens Theater this summer and then they performed their play "Rockin Through Time" in the end of September. Gabriella auditioned for a speaking role which included reciting a monologue and singing and dancing. We were really proud of her for trying and she got the part of the street vendor! She was very excited! She had several lines including "PEANUTS! PEANUTS FOR SALE! GET YOUR HOT FRESH ROASTED PEANUTS!"

Opening Night

Gabrie and her friend Darcy Ferguson

Grandma and Grandpa Williams came to watch and then took us out for treats afterwards.

The whole cast got to sing and be part of the new Herriman City Hall dedication. Livvy is the blonde in the front row in black and Gabrie was on the back row behind her.

All ready for another show!

On the last night I was one of the volunteers helping the kids with costume changes and getting on stage at the right time so I go to sit with the girls.

Gabrie must be looking back at Livvy, so cute.

Grandma and Grandpa Talley came and saw the closing night performance.

The boys had their last soccer game the same night, busy times!
Blurry picture but we'll still use it.

The girls did a great job and it was so fun watching them perform.

Fall Soccer Season

We got ourselves in little over our head with all 4 kids in soccer and the girls were in a play as well but it was also a lot of fun.

Dash and Liam started their season off right- they each scored 2 goals! Well one of Dash's didn't quite count because he picked up the ball and placed it in front of the goal, then kicked it in! Hahaha! But compared to last year when they wouldn't stay on the field it was huge progress!

Practicing with their team.
Their friends Charlotte, Harris and Logan were on the team too.
Dash lining up for his turn to do a practice shot on the goal. Liam was right behind him.

 I love this one!
Liam stopping to talk to his coach, instead of playing the game.

Dash about to kick off,
but somehow it was Liam who did it instead....
Dash and Liam holding hands with their team, the coach's attempt to keep them in together in the right place while the other team kicked off, hahaha.

 Liam doing a throw in.
Enjoying well deserved after game treats.
Their cute team photos

Both girls got to play on all girl teams this year which we were excited about. A couple of the girls on both of their teams had more experience and it was a little intimidating but they both did great.
Olivia trying out goalie for the first time, I think I was more stressed out than she was. She did a great job.

Mom trying to keep herself warm on the sidelines. This particular Saturday Dad was somewhere else and I was doing it all on my own.

Gabrie hadn't played for a couple of years so she was nervous, but she got out there and worked hard.

Later in the season she scored 2 goals in 1 game! They were her first goals of her soccer career, so she is beyond happy!

Some team photos

First Day of School

Back to School!
Gabriella is in 5th grade with Ms. Hollandsworth and Senora Johnson (again! She also had her in 3rd grade) and Olivia is in 2nd with Ms. Hall and Senora Corona. This was the first year they actually started on the same day!

At the school

This year was a little more complicated since they started the same day it was hard for Mom to see them both go in. I got Livvy in her line and then went to see Gabrie in hers and then when I got back Livvy was missing! School was about to start and I couldn't find her, then she turned up with tears in her eyes. I guess we had put her in the wrong line and she panicked when I wasn't there and tried to find me. But it turned out okay and she was able to line up in the right line and we even got a picture with her friend Zach, they were excited to be in the same class again!

 All smiles and waves!

The boys started back a couple weeks later. They were so excited to start again at Nana's Preschool with Miss Pat, Miss Melissa and Miss Lynn, and so was Mommy!

Liam

Dash, he gave so many good facial expressions, I had to include them all!

Hahahaha!
