2016 Talley Family Vacation

In July we did our annual Talley Family Vacation!

First we celebrated the 4th of July (on the 3rd) with a barbecue and fireworks.

Unfortunately we didn't think to take this picture until after Darcy, Shane, Emily, Alec and Zach left so they are missing.

Our last field trip for preschool was supposed to be to the farm, but rain and sickness prevented us from going, so we postponed it until June. The boys would ask me everyday if we were going to the farm so it was good to go so they would stop asking me!

Swimming Lessons

This was Dash and Liam's first lesson, they were so cute and pretty brave (Dash was a little too brave). They loved their teacher Izzy and talked about her constantly. Pictures are kind of fuzzy but they are the best I could get before they told me I wasn't allowed to take pictures!

Luke's Achilles

The week before school ended Luke had his leadership students at Camp Williams for team building and while running up an incline wall he tore his Achilles tendon. Then he had surgery to reattach it the next week on his first day of summer break! But he managed to still start his summer class the next week after just a few days of recovery. It kinda messed up some of our summer plans since he was in a cast and then a boot for the entire summer.
