Bed Time!

These boys are a lot to handle but oh so cute! After the battle of cribs, I tried taking off the fronts of the cribs to turn them into toddler beds. Most nights we would find them in the same bed! (:

Not long after we decided to get rid of the cribs altogether since the boys would still climb them or go under them. We did have these rails so they wouldn't roll out of the bed but those also did not last long since they would pull them out and play with them too.

They do really good at bed time, but nap time is a different story! They have broken their blinds, pulled the curtains down, broken the vent, the drawers in their dresser and the closet doors. We ended up taking everything out but 2 mattress on the floor and the empty dresser which they still climb on and in until we moved that into the closet recently (Jan 2014)

I learned I had to put the boys down one at a time if I wanted them to sleep. Usually Dash needed to go down first because if I put him in when Liam was already asleep Dash would wake him up. Liam sometimes tries to wake up Dash but Dash is a much more sound sleeper so it usually doesn't work and Liam gives in and goes to sleep.

I don't buy the boys a ton of matching clothes but these pajamas were just too cute to pass up!

After the bath watching a show together (:

Olivia's First Day of Preschool

Olivia before her first day of preschool (2nd year). She is part of a small neighborhood preschool group where the mom's take turns teaching, it has been perfect for her and she loves her preschool friends!

Ogden Temple Open House

We went to walk through the Ogden Temple which had been redone. It was very beautiful!

Swim and Dance Lessons and Livvy's first cavity

In September the girls had swim lessons at the rec center.
This was Livvy's first time and she was nervous and excited!

Then they both started dance, again it was Livvy's first time.

After her first lesson we went straight to the
dentist to get her first cavity filled, it was not fun ):

Before Gabrie's first class.

10th Anniversary trip to Florida

In August we celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary! We wanted to do something extra special so we went to Florida! It was awesome! Thanks to Grandma Williams for watching the girls and Aunt Jeni for coming to stay with boys. We went to Universal Studios, ate out, shopped in the tourist areas, got lost on Boggy Creek Road, slept a lot, swam in the pool and went to the beach. It was so much fun!

At our hotel

Universal Studios, the highlight was definitely the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

 Hogwarts Express in Hogsmeade

Hogwarts Castle (Luke is holding his beloved pumpkin juice)

Talking to the "Night Bus" driver was one of my favorite parts!

Diagon Alley

 Drinking our butter beers!

I really wanted to see an alligator while we were there but this is the closet I got inside a tourist shop.

Cocoa Beach! My new "happy place"!

There were stormy skies the whole time but it actually made for the perfect blend of cool and breezy. It was so peaceful and wonderful, I can't wait to go back!

Back at Universal at night, watching the dragon above Gringotts breath fire.

 Eating at the Leaking Cauldron

Luke had the Bangers n' Mash.

Another fun part of Universal Studios, the Dr. Suess Land

Truffula Trees

We got a little lost trying to get out of Universal one night and of course got stuck in the scariest place -Jurassic Park! At one point two small speedy objects darted across our path - we're pretty sure that they were just stray cats, but you never know...
