The kids had been playing with toothpicks and playdough and someone brought the tooth picks from the kitchen table (where they were allowed) into the living room (where they were not allowed). Somehow one ended up in Olivia's foot! I tried to pull it out, but it wouldn't budge! I was getting queasy and Olivia was freaking out, but luckily our neighbor Leslie came to get her daughter Taylor (who was playing at our house) and she was able to give it a good hard yank. It came out with no permanent damage.
Lazy afternoon, everyone on Mom and Dad's bed watching a screen (except Mom)!
Olivia made these cute signs for her tea-party. Having a "Tea Party" is one her favorite things to do! She gets out the tea set and gets little treats like chocolate chips, pretzels, goldfish, or marshmallows along with either water or preferably lemonade. It can get messy and she tends to forget to clean it up so even though she asks to do one daily she doesn't always get to.

Tea Party at Liv's House
Her place setting, I am pretty sure she had just read a "Fancy Nancy" book about having a tea party....we love those books.
Liam with a tower that I am pretty sure Dash built and then they put all their characters inside.
Grandpa Williams introduced Olivia and Gabriella to one of his loves- the game of Zarahemla! It was awesome of him to let them play and teach them how and they decided to play by themselves.
Luke and I got to be chaperones for the middle schoolers going to La Caille.
We've done it a couple times and it is always entertaining and delicious.

Liam shoveling our first snowfall, he was excited to pull out the hat and gloves.
Dash in a full snow suit enjoying the snow on the trampoline.
Liam out shoveling again, this time in jammies, boots and some awesome bed head.
We decide to risk our lives one night and take everyone out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. It turned out remarkably well! One of the more pleasant eating-in-public-with-kids experiences we've had. Maybe because Livvy had her "turkey" costume on....
